Minnesota law enforcement is working hard to crack down on drug trafficking. In Duluth, a dozen defendants were recently indicted on federal drug trafficking charges. An additional 17 defendants face state felony drug trafficking charges, and up to 40 total arrests are expected in a massive heroin ring bust.

In one recent case, three Minnesotans were arrested for possession of over 16 grams of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia. Employees of the Comfort Inn and Suites in the Town of Brockway called police to report suspicious activity in the lobby.
